Introducing the Newest Physical Therapist at Wildflower Physical Therapy & Wellness!

Indianapolis!! We are so excited to announce the hiring of our newest Doctor of Physical Therapy, Dr. Anna Thomas!

Anna is an Indianapolis native and a 2013 graduate of Indiana University. Anna is now accepting new clients at our downtown Indianapolis clinic location and she is very excited to meet you.

Dr. Anna Thomas has been practicing Physical Therapy for ever a decade, and she has extensive experience in the field of orthopedics and pain management of the whole body. Anna has a very fitness forward treatment approach and has a mutual passion for helping people heal through movement.

Certifications:

  • She is a Certified Manual Physical Therapist, which means that she has specialized training in manual therapy, a technique that is used to treat pain and physical restrictions known to cause injury and dysfunction.

  • She also has several years of experience in Tactical Strength and Conditioning making her uniquely qualified to work on bridging the gap between rehab and performance in athletes, and those with physically demanding jobs.

  • Lastly, she has been certified in dry needling of the entire body since 2016 and loves to use this intervention as part of her practice.

What does Anna specialize in treating?

  • Anna is highly trained in orthopedics of the entire body

  • She enjoys working with runners, cyclists, climbers and weekend warriors

  • She has extensive experience in chronic pain conditions such as chronic headaches, low back pain, and hypermobility syndromes for example

“I love being a Physical Therapist because I love being able to help people and have a positive impact on their lives. I enjoy meeting a variety of people and learning more about them so I can form a lasting relationship and promote health in our community.”

  • Anna is a dog mom to 2 samoyed pups Toby and Ryker

  • She was born and raised in Indianapolis, IN

  • She enjoys reading, listening to podcasts, spending time with her family and restoring old houses

  • Loves rock climbing, mountain biking, weightlifting, running and yoga

  • Some of her faves include espresso, curry, metalcore music and NYC
